Reflecting on the highlights and accomplishments of the past year.

As the new year draws near, we'd like to take a moment to reflect on the highlights and accomplishments of the past year.

NextGen Automation had a year of change. We made significant investments in our systems, to modernize our workflows in all areas of the business.

Thanks to all our amazing employees, customers, and partners, we could not have done this without your support.

Here are a few highlights from the past year:

E-COMMERCE STORE

Our new online store was launched in July 2021. Our goal was to expand our product offering and to make online ordering more convenient and timesaving for our customers.

We offer our customers a wide range of products from a variety of categories such as printers, print supplies, notebooks, displays, IT accessories, shredders, and more. It’s our version of Amazon for business but managed locally with a personal touch. Our Digital Sales team works around the clock ensuring you get the right products for your business requirements.

Additionally, the store offers the following technology:

Supply Auto-Fullfillment - $1000’s of dollars tied up in toner and supplies in your storage room. Through our auto fulfillment process, the device sends an alert, “toner level is low” and we automatically ship you a new toner cartridge before it runs out. You no longer have to manage this process internally, saving time and money.

Supply Cupboard - Through our e-commerce platform you can see all your print devices and toner levels on your network. With a click of a button, you can add the toner cartridge to the cart and check out.

If you haven’t already, you can check out our online store here: www.shop.NextGenAutomation.com

NEW BRAND - MERGE ALL COMPANIES INTO NEXTGEN AUTOMATION

One of the biggest changes of the year was merging all our companies into one brand - NextGen Automation.

Digital Connection has grown significantly with the acquisitions of AGS Business Systems, Mitech Business Systems, Hartman Business Machines and CBM Office Automation over the past 5 years.

Considering the future, it made sense to integrate all companies under one single brand. A brand name that reflects our vision and core values.

In addition to a new brand, NextGen unveiled a new website that emphasizes the growth of our iconic brand and expansion of our new services.

ACQUISITIONS

CBM Office Automation - CBM Office Automation has been a provider of print services and technologies in Edmonton since 1974. This acquisition brings many opportunities to provide their customers with an even greater level of service and support. We are pleased to welcome the experienced and knowledgeable staff at CBM into the NextGen Automation family.

Bio-Static - As of October 1, 2021, our business operations have expanded to Manitoba! We are so excited about the addition of Bio-Static Digital Office Solutions in Winnipeg to NextGen and to welcome the team to the organization.

Bio-Static has been offering businesses the solutions they need to succeed since 1977. NextGen Automation's acquisition of Bio-Static reflects the company's commitment to providing the best customer service and expanding the range of technology options for customers.

MANAGED SERVICES IT

We expanded our Managed Service offering this year. Enhancing our partnership with Microsoft and delivering high value services to our urban and rural markets.

EXPANDS SHARP COVERAGE FROM BRITISH COLUMBIA TO MANITOBA

Our authorized partnership with Sharp has now expanded in Manitoba and British Columbia. Our goal is to develop a single strategy across all markets for continuity and sustainability.

As a longstanding service partner, Sharp has been working alongside NextGen Automation for more than 15 years. Sharp will now be able to provide sales and service throughout Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge, Cranbrook, as well as Winnipeg and Vancouver Island.

Since 1974, Sharp Canada has strategically partnered with the best independent office equipment companies to build a strong network throughout Canada.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2022

As 2022 is fast approaching, we are excited to announce that on January 4th, 2022, we will be opening a new Distribution Center in Calgary. This new centralized location will allow us to serve our customers more effectively, improving our supply chain across all markets.
